5 Most Expensive Philosophy Books on Amazon

Last night I was browsing philosophy books on Amazon before bedtime. On a whim, and purely for gratuitous fun, I decided to search for the most expensive philosophy books I could find. Here are the top five most expensive philosophy books I could find on Amazon as of today.

1) The Field of Consciousness by Aron Gurwitsch ($989.90)

2) An Introduction to the Philosophy of Time and Space by Bas C. Van Fraassen ($985.00)

3) Pathways Through to Space: An Experiential Journal by Franklin Merrell-Wolff ($967.00)

4) Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal by Ayn Rand ($954.83)

5) The Worlds of Existentialism: A Critical Reader, edited by Maurice Friedman ($954.83)

What do you think? Should we add these books to our philosophical reading lists? I must admit that I haven’t read these books in particular, even if I have read other books by a couple of the authors listed here (viz., Bas Van Fraassen and Ayn Rand) Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
